King County Materials Exchange Program is a way for you to buy and sell reuseable household items, including building materials. The Exchange's maximum sale price for household items is $250; there is no price limit in place for reusable building materials. Anyone can browse through the listings and purchase or acquire items for free. Users set up a simple account and can then place and manage listings. In addition to listing household items and reusable building materials, residents can also list garage and yard sales - complete with an online map to your sale. There is no fee for this service. Residents can also sign-up to receive listings by e-mail.
