Puget Sound Energy (PSE) is offering a $40 rebate on new high-efficiency natural gas water heaters. High-efficiency natural gas water heaters have a higher first-hour recovery rate and use less natural gas to heat and store water compared to standard tanks.Equipment requirements include that the natural gas water heater has a 0.62 or higher energy factor, capacity of 20-100 gallons of storage and a maximum input of 75,000 Btu/hour. Unit must be installed in PSE's natural gas service area to qualify for rebate.
